school money discussion

After listening to School Money, and reading The Broken Promises of Choice in New York City Schools, post a comment in the discussion board with your reaction to these articles.  You can post anything that you are thinking, but here are some possible prompts:

  • What surprised you about the data that was shared?
  • What solutions for improving equitable access to quality education seem promising to you?
  • What are good ways that school districts, including your own, might utilize their money most effectively?

Remember to be respectful and make room for others to disagree, but also don’t be afraid to take a position (and back it up).
